You must be a Manager or Administrator, or have been assigned custom User permissions, in order to clone a menu.

How to Clone A Menu

  1. Select Catering from the side nav bar.
  2. Click on Menus.
  3. Select Manage Menus.
  4. Scroll down Menu Management until you reach your chosen menu.
  5. Click on the Clone icon under the Actions column.
  6. Under the Clone Menu for Facility heading you will see the Site Menu Setup Details. As this is a cloned menu, you will not be able to select a different menu template to base this menu on (this field is greyed out).
  7. You will need to select the following information for your cloned menu:
    • Site Custom Menu Name (you will need to rename your cloned Menu as it cannot be same name)
    • Hint: if cloning to extend current menu consider same name with (extended) added ie; Autumn Menu 2024 (extended)
    • Has Continental Breakfast (if yes, click the radio button as shown below):
    • Select the status (eg; active or planning).
    • Start and end dates for an Active or Planning Menu cannot overlap.
    • Start Date (Menu can only be started on a Monday) and End date (End date needs to be on a Sunday).
    • Menu Week Cycle Start (eg, W1, W2, W3, etc).

        8. Save.

        9. You will now be directed to the Edit Menu page, where you can make any changes to your cloned menu, if needed.
