When in Manage Budgets,


To Edit a Budget:


  1. Click on either the Budget Name or the Edit icon in the Actions column of your chosen budget:
  2. Under the Edit Budget heading you will have the option of changing most budget details, including: 
    • Budget Name
    • Budget Type (s)
    • Budget Description 
    • Budget Category (s)
    • End Date
    • Estimate Forecast 
    • Mark this as Main Budget
  3.  If you have entered expenses for this budget in Manage Expenses, you will not be able to edit the following details:
    • Start Date
    • Number of Residents

  4. If you have selected to use a menu for costing, when creating the budget, you will see the following details, but won't be able to edit them:
    • Select Menu to get CPBPD
    • Menu CPBPD
  5. Both the Budget Duration and Forecast Cost per bed per Day will change automatically if the End Date and Estimated Forecast are changed above.

  6. Make any changes to the budget, as required.

  7. Click Save.

  8. You will see a success message pop, confirming that the budget has been updated.


Tip: You can also navigate to the Edit Budget page by clicking on the Edit this Budget button when Viewing a Budget.
