The macronutrients play an essential role in this planning as they are the proteins, fats and carbohydrates which we require in our diets along with the other nutrients like vitamins and minerals.

 

SoupedUp catering is designed to be able to manage menu planning with concentration and detail to these important factors and we are happy to strive to meet industry needs.

 

With the latest enhancement of our macronutrient reporting in conjunction with the use of SoupedUp functionality in recipes and ingredients, we are able to capture the detail with the use of SoupedUp ordering processes to bring you the macronutrient reporting.


The report displays the Energy (KJ), Carbohydrates, Protein, Calories, Saturated Fat, Sugar, Salt and Fat intake of residents over all recorded daily meal services. Users can generate this information from 1 day to 3 months of information.

 

Please note: The report is site specific, and this information is taken from the Residents Meal Order history. The information is only available if using the electronic Resident Meal Order form. The data is collected from the Resident Meal Order History in each resident profile.

 

  1. Select ‘Reports’ from the left-hand navigation bar
  2. Select the Dietary Information tab to display the Macronutrient Report
  3. To generate the report, use any of the following filtering options:
    1. Meal Services (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch etc) – Note: Only select the meal services that are in the menu. If morning and afternoon tea are not in the active menu, unselect them before generating the report.
    2. Wings
    3. Residents
    4. Gender
    5. Nutrients
    6. Date Range
  4. Generate Report

The results will display Wing, Room – Bed and Resident Name, followed by the nutritional information for the specified date range. The data gives an average of each macronutrient group over the specified date range. The bottom column gives an average of all the residents selected in the report.
