Please note, before you add a menu template to your facility and make it active, you need to have set up your:

  1. Cycle Settings
  2. Course Settings
  3. Choice Rules  

Once the above are setup, to add a new template:

  1. Select Catering from the side nav bar.
  2. Click on Menus.
  3. Select Template Structure and then Templates.
  4. Click the + Add New Template button as shown below:  

Under the Menu Templates Details heading you will see the following:



  1. Enter a Name for this template.
  2. Select your chosen Cycle Settings for this template from the drop down menu.
  3. Enter a Template description (optional).
  4. Save.
  5. You will now be directed to the Edit Template page where you can select the meal courses (number and type) you wish to apply to this template, including any Choice Rules.  Don't forget to Save. 

NB. If you are not ready to enter the information at Step 5. Click Cancel, and your template will be saved as Inactive and Not Visible, allowing you to enter the information at a later date. You can locate this saved template by following the steps to View a Template.
