• Our Budgets module is included as part of our Enhance and Elevate subscriptions. 
  • Budgets are a great way to forecast, record and track your Catering expenses.
  • When you have the Budgets module you can cost your menus and calculate cost per bed per day.
  • Only Administrators can add new Budgets and delete existing budgets.


To access Budgets:

  1. Click on Budgets in the left side nav:


  2. Select Budget Dashboard and the dashboard will automatically open to your Main Budget.

  3. If you haven't marked a Budget as your Main Budget, you can select your chosen Budget from the 'Select Budget' drop-down menu:

  4. The Dashboard shows the following information for your Main Budget (or selected Budget):
  • Budget Name
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Forecast cost per Resident per day
  • Actual cost per Resident per day
  • Three graphs are also displayed - Forecast vs Expense, Cost by Category and Cost by Supplier.

5. The Budget can also be filtered by Supplier and by Category.    

6. Click Generate Report to download a Budget Expenses Report.  

7. Click on the downloaded file to View and Print the PDF.
