Delete an Expense Category

Please note: Once expenses have been recorded against your categories, you will not have the ability to delete them.


To Delete an expense category:


  1. Click on the Budgets module in the side nav.
  2. Select Manage Categories.
  3. Here you will see a list of all your existing categories.
  4. If you are sure you want to delete the category, click on the Delete icon in the Actions column of your chosen category:
  5. The category will be permanently deleted.
  6. A success message will confirm the deletion.
