Troubleshooting - Tips & Tricks


Here is some key information on troubleshooting common user problems or changes/enhancements in SoupedUp.

Kitchen menu items - now includes Special Diets!

  1. The ability to create or clone Recipes in SoupedUp with the inclusion of the suitability to select Special Diets has now been expanded for the ability to also select Special Diets in creation of Menu Items
  2. You will note this change when you open Menu Items with a new field named ‘Special Diets’ which is a drop down option to select your preferred Special Diets for inclusion when you create or edit your Menu Items.


How to find the Dietitian Menu Compliance Certificate

  1. If you have a SoupedUp certified menu, you can access the Dietitian Menu Compliance Certificate if required. 
  2. Simply follow the instructions below to download 
    1. Go to the Site
    2. Click on Catering
    3. Click on Reports
    4. Click on Dietary Information
    5. Click on Recipe Disclaimer
    6. Then click Generate Report

Did you know? You can add your own Dining rooms, tables and seats?

  1. You can allocate residents to a dining table and seating and then can generate many of our reports based on dining locations. This is helpful for those taking orders by residents at the table. This is not an integrated component for SoupedUp and can be updated. 
  2. User permission group ‘facility Management’ access is required to do this. You may need to contact your administrator to review permissions to add your own dining rooms, tables and seats.
