Food Textures Dropdown - Reordered

We have changed the order that our food texture options display in our dropdown lists when adding and editing resident profiles to align with the IDDI pyramid (from top to bottom). The order is now displayed as:

  • RG7 - Regular
  • EC7 - Regular Easy to Chew
  • SB6 - Soft & Bite-Sized
  • MM5 - Minced & Moist
  • PU4 - Pureed
  • LQ3 - Liquidised

Temporary Leave - Change to Information Pop-Up
We have updated our pop-up message when changing a resident's status to Temporary Leave

Status Change Reason - Mandatory
When changing the status of a resident in their profile, it is mandatory to select a reason for the change. We have added an asterisk (*) to this field to alert users that this is a compulsory field.

Resident Photo - File Size Requirements
When adding or editing a resident photo, SoupedUp has a file size restriction of 2MB. The file size requirement has been added to the Select an image pop-up screen as a reminder to users.

If a user tries to upload an image that is in excess of 2MB, an error message will be displayed.

Clinical Integration Enhancements

Portion Size Default to Medium
We have updated the integration with Telstra Health's Clinical Manager to default a resident's Portion Size to Medium if there is no response to the portion size question in the N&H Assessment (or equivalent). The following integration error will be generated to alert users; Portion Size is not provided. Default to M-Medium.

Where there is a response entered in the resident's N&H Assessment (or equivalent) in Clinical Manager, then that response will continue to be mapped into the resident's profile in SoupedUp. This aligns the Clinical Manager integration mapping with standard SoupedUp functionality.

The SoupedUp Clinical Manager Integration guide has been updated to reflect this change. You can request an updated copy of this guide from our Helpdesk if you require it.

Lemon Added to Dietary Restrictions List
We have added Lemon to our list of Dietary Restrictions terms. When next updating your Nutrition & Hydration Assessment form, you may wish to add Lemon to your dropdown list.

Report Enhancements

Menu Reports - Default Current Active Menu
When setting filters for any of our Menu reports, the Select menu field will default to the current active menu for the site selected. If there is no active menu with current start and end dates, the Select menu field will default to the Select option

Continental Breakfast Order Form - NBM
We have updated the way the Nil by Mouth notification displays on the Continental Breakfast Order Form. It will now display in red font as Nil By Mouth in lieu of NBM. This is to ensure any residents, or their family members, filling out this order form will know what this red notification means. This notification continues to display independently of the Food Texture field on this report.

Hardware and Process Upgrades
We continue to work through a framework version upgrade to ensure we are using the most current version.

We are planning the move to more frequent and shorter release cycles to better cater to client enhancement requests.

We are also reconfiguring our data tables to enhance performance.

Squashed Bugs

  • We have removed the 'OR' from displaying between vegetable options on the Kitchen Menu and Display Menu - Weekly.
  • Community Ordering meal packaging labels are now printing correctly to reflect orders that have been placed.
  • Special diets within the Special Diets Legend on reports will now be displayed in alphabetical order.
  • Fluid textures within the Fluid Textures Legend on reports will now display in the same order as the IDDSI pyramid.
  • All Cost per Serve amounts displayed in recipes will now display with two decimal places.
  • The landscape version of the Resident Individual Choice report is now generating correctly.
