Integration with Clinical Manager (previously iCare):
Gender Mapping
We have updated the gender mapping for the Clinical Manager term Intersex or indeterminate . This will now map into SU as Indeterminate/Intersex/Unspecified. Previously, this mapped into SU as Intersex.
Integration with eCase:
Updates to accommodate eCase Dietary Assessment and Dietary Care Plan V2
We have updated our integration capability to accommodate the changes made by eCase when they introduced Dietary Assessment and Dietary Care Plan V2. The changes include:
- New responses added to My Special Diet Type / Awareness of Diet
- Changed response terms in My Special Diet Type / Awareness of Diet
- New Meal Size term added (Extra Large)
- Changed Meal Size term Medium (regular)
*Please note: these changes apply if you are using the new eCase dietary assessment form titled Dietary V2.
Simplified Mapping of Food Textures
We have taken your feedback seriously to simplify the way you can enter food textures in a resident's eCase Dietary Care Plan.
Now, the following mapping rules apply:
- If there is only one food texture level ticked in the Care Plan, SU will map the selected texture level to both the Food Texture - Protein and Food Texture - Other fields in SU. For example:

- If there are two food texture levels ticked in the Care Plan, only one level needs to have accompanying text containing the word 'protein' or 'meat' (no fullstop required). The other food texture level does not need any accompanying text for mapping purposes. SU will map the food texture with the word 'protein' or meat' to it's Food Texture - Protein field and map the other ticked food texture level to it's Food Texture - Other field.

*Please note: the integration will continue to support the original rules of applying the ticked texture level/s with Protein. Other. in the accompanying text field/s.
Special Diets
The Special Diet term REG - Regular has been added to the SU Special Diets list. As such, we have updated the mapping for the term No special requirements (in the eCase dietary assessment). If received from eCase, this will now map into SU as REG - Regular. Previously, this mapped into SU as Unspecified.
Gender Mapping
We have updated the gender mapping for the term Indeterminate/Intersex/Unspecified. This will now map into SU as Indeterminate/Intersex/Unspecified. Previously, this mapped into SU as Undisclosed.
Integration with Leecare:
Gender Mapping
We have updated the gender mapping for the Leecare term Intersex. This will now map into SU as Indeterminate/Intersex/Unspecified. Previously, this mapped into SU as Intersex.
Integration with Manad:
Gender Mapping
We have updated the gender mapping for the Manad term Unspecified. This will now map into SU as Indeterminate/Intersex/Unspecified. Previously, this mapped into SU as Undisclosed.
SQUASHED BUGS:
- No Religion received from Manad will now map to SoupedUp as Nil Known.
- The Resident Type field will be locked for all clinical integrations.
- If an existing value exists in the Resident's Religion field in SU, and a subsequent data fetch has the value removed from the clinical software, then SU will update it's Religion field to blank.
