Clone Ingredient

• A cloned ingredient is a copy of an existing ingredient.
• The new cloned ingredient can be edited to add additional information added (such as brand and type).
• Cloning is a great way of customising ingredients to your specific site and Foodservice suppliers.

When in Ingredients, to Clone an Ingredient:

• Click on the Clone icon in the Actions column for your chosen ingredient:
  
• Under the Clone Ingredient heading, update any Ingredient Detail, Allergens and Nutrients for the cloned ingredient.
  In the example below, Brand and Type have been added:
  
• Click Save
• The cloned ingredient will now appear in the list of ingredients under Ingredient Management.
  
• Click the Ingredient Validated Button to change it from Red (not Validated) to Green (Validated)
