Following is a summary of changes you will find in the latest software release.

New Preparation Options Added

We have added new preparation options to the Prep list in recipes. When adding or editing an ingredient or recipe, you will now see the additional Prep options of; Packed, Lightly packed, Chopped, and Chunks.

Menu - Continental Breakfast Warning Message

We have added a warning message that will pop up if you try to deactivate the Has Continental Breakfast toggle in the setup of a planning menu.

The warning message will display if you toggle off Has Continental Breakfast and then click Save. The message is to remind you to check if continental breakfast orders have already been taken before turning off Has Continental Breakfast in your planning menu if you wish to.

Hardware and Process Upgrades

We are working through a framework version upgrade to ensure we are using the most current version.

We are planning the move to more frequent and shorter release cycles to better cater to client enhancement requests.

We are also reconfiguring our data tables to enhance performance.

Squashed Bugs

  • We've fixed the resident data display from the Resident Menu Selection Form so that Special Diets are separated by a comma and easier to read.
  • When navigating to any of our digital ordering forms, SoupedUp will default to the current active menu. If you want to place orders from a planning menu, please select the planning menu first.
  • When entering portion size to a resident profile, the prompt to select the appropriate portion size has been greyed out to avoid it being selected accidently and no portion size being applied.
