Menus

Menu End Date - Extension

You can now extend the end date of your active or planning menu, allowing you to continue taking orders from the current in use menu.  Simply:

1. Navigate to Menus | Manage Menus
2. Select the Setup  icon for the menu you wish to extend
3. Click on End Date
4. Choose the new future end date. *Note, the menu end date must always be a Sunday.
5. Click Save
   

The additional menu time will be visible in your site to take orders for your residents.

Add and Edit Menu - New Display Options

You can now choose how you wish to view the Add Menu and Edit Menu screens by applying filters and/or display options. Simply click on the Show/Hide Filters button to reveal options.

You can filter by food textures and choose to show the Menu Type and/or Show Choice Rules. Food textures are displayed in their IDDSI colours.

Reports

Resident Meal Choice Summary Report - Ability to see Residents without orders taken

You can now choose to generate the Resident Meal Choice Summary report to include residents that have not had orders taken. To do this, click on the new 

*Note: Selecting this option will cause a longer report generation time. We recommend the report be generated by one meal service at a time when using this option.

Security

Navigation

You will notice that two options are now displayed in the navigation panel under Residents. We have moved Resident Notifications from the Administration section and under the Residents option.

• To view/action resident profile data via the Resident List , navigate to Residents | Profiles
• To view resident notification messages, navigate to Residents | Notifications.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

You can now choose to enable our Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) capability to enhance your SoupedUp user logon security.

When enabling 2FA on your SoupedUp account, you can choose to have your one-time code provided via an authenticator app, or via email.

One Email Address per User Logon

To further enhance the security of SoupedUp user accounts, email addresses can no longer be updated in a user's profile, and the email address field is now locked. If an email address requires changing, a new user profile will need to be created.

Squashed Bugs

• Supplements are no long displayed on Tray Tags with Photo when Include supplements for meal service is not selected.
• The Birthday List report is working as expected and we have given the red array error it's marching orders.
• Special characters in the intolerance list are no longer displayed when adding a resident.
